Lucton School does not appoint an educational guardian, this is the responsibility of the Parent or their Agent.
The school will collect details of all appointed guardians for individual students, including full name, telephone number, email address and postal address.
We strongly recommend all guardians are AEGIS and/or BSA Accreditated.
Within the first half term, the school will arrange an in person meeting with newly appointed education guardians, and where this is not possible, a video call will be arranged. This will involve the guardians, the Head of Boarding and Assistant Head (Pastoral) and will include identity checks from HR.
Please note, under no circumstances are school staff permitted to be appointed as an educational guardian for any student at Lucton.
